The Camel's Yarn officially opened in the Summer of 2020 after leaving my job as a Podiatrist. As an enthusiastic knitter, I had discovered and fallen in love with the process of hand dyeing yarn a few years previous, but it wasn't until the first Lockdown that I finally had the opportunity to explore this art further, eventually leading to the creation of my small business!

Originally based in the town of Camelford, along the North coast of Cornwall, The Camel's Yarn is hugely inspired by the beautiful scenery on offer in the South West of the UK. Although no longer living in Cornwall, my Cornish roots will forever inspire future collections, colourways and projects.

​In my spare time, I love to get outside and enjoy nature. I am lucky enough to have grown up by the sea, and enjoy wild swimming in all seasons!
