2026 Advent Calendar - The Calm & The Storm

Journey with us down to the coastline as we experience shifting seas and ever-changing tides, and embrace the calm that comes with the storm. Wild seas of inky blue and storm clouds of steely grey give way to misty greens, hazy pastel skies and dusky sand.

This mini skein advent will alternate between light and subtle shades, and deeper moody tones - switching from calm to storm from one day to the next.

- 24x20g mini skeins. The mini skeins will be a beautiful mixture of variegated/speckled and tonal (semi-solid) colourways.

Please note - The NSW bases will be more muted with colour transitions being more subtle, and speckles appearing less crisp. I like to describe the NSW bases as having a "watercolour-like" effect in terms of how the colours mix on the skein.

We have two payment options this year:

- Pay in Full

- 3 monthly installments (see details below)

£50 taken as a deposit upfront, with further payments taken on the 1st of June and 1st of August.

e.g. If you purchase the BFL Twist Sock advent, £50 is taken upfront, with £62.50 due on both 1st June and 1st August.

Invoices will be sent out to your email address to collect installment payments, so please make sure you checkout using an active email address.

Advents will ship at the end of October/start of November. Updates will be sent via email at this time so you will know when to expect the delivery of your advent. Please make sure to check-out using an active email address so as not to miss important emails.

UK orders will be sent Royal Mail Tracked 48

International advents will be sent Tracked.

Multiple advents may be purchased, but cannot be shipped together. Please checkout separately if you wish to order more than one advent, or other shop items.

If you move house after purchasing an advent, please inform me of your new address as soon as possible so I can update your order.

All advent purchases include a non-refundable deposit (£50) which is the first payment if paying in installments. This is because materials are purchased as soon as the pre-order closes.

Hand wash in cool water with your favourite wool wash. Some slight colour bleed is normal on the first wash.

Please note - NSW bases require more care when washing. Please only wash in cold water, and avoid using wool wash if possible. Non-Superwash yarns (especially darker colours) are more likely to bleed if rinsed with warmer water and wool wash so please treat with care.
