Common Whelk - BFL Singles
Common Whelk - BFL Singles
A subtle shell colour, with delicate cool brown speckles.
The Common Whelk is the largest sea snail in the UK! Their empty egg capsules can often be found washed up on the tideline and, if you’re lucky, you may find one of their big shells too!

Useful Information
Useful Information
All yarn is hand dyed and therefore no skein is identical. I recommend alternating between skeins throughout your project to prevent pooling of colours.
If you purchase multiple skeins of the same colourway, they will be from the same dye-lot unless otherwise stated.
If dye-lots differ greatly, photos of each dye-lot will be provided.
Please purchase your required number of skeins at the same time if you need them to be from the same dye-lot. Every care is taken to maintain consistency between dye-lots, however the nature of hand dyed yarn means that variations may occur.
