Moorland Aran

Moorland Aran is grown and spun here in Britain, making it one of our most environmentally friendly bases! It's slightly more rustic in texture than our other bases, yet softens beautifully as it's worked and washed. Moorland Aran is one of our Non-Superwash bases, and is a natural grey in its undyed form, meaning colourways are deeper and richer on this base. Dye is absorbed very slowly, making this base suitable only for tonals and simpler speckled colourways. Speckles melt into this yarn, making them appear more blended. This base works up with lots of structure, making it perfect for sweaters, cable work, and smaller accessories such as hats and mittens.
