Cape Cornwall - Merino Singles

A mossy green, with golden splashes. Inspired by paintings of the headland created whilst visiting Cape Cornwall.

Part of The Newlyn Collection

Cape Cornwall, the only cape in England, is a small headland situated just North of Land's End. It was here that we spent our first day of the course, out along the dramatic cliffs, battling the typical wild Cornish weather! 'Cape Cornwall' is a gorgeous blend of mossy-greens and golds, a beautiful earthy colourway, which looks especially good on the NSW bases!

The swatch is on my Standard Sock base. The superwash bases (Standard Sock, Merino Singles and Merino DK) are more saturated and variegated than the non-superwash bases. The final fabric will look different depending on the base and pattern used, the swatch is just to give you a rough idea of how the colourway works up.

Useful Information

All yarn is hand dyed and therefore no skein is identical. I recommend alternating between skeins throughout your project to prevent pooling of colours.

If you purchase multiple skeins of the same colourway, they will be from the same dye-lot unless otherwise stated.

If dye-lots differ greatly, photos of each dye-lot will be provided.

Please purchase your required number of skeins at the same time if you need them to be from the same dye-lot. Every care is taken to maintain consistency between dye-lots, however the nature of hand dyed yarn means that variations may occur.
