With this colourway we celebrate the way in which the sea shapes, etches and weathers our beachcombing finds. By Salt and Sea is a subtle off white which very slightly leans into blue/lilac tones, topped off with cool-brown and blue-grey speckles.

Weight: Double Knit/DK
Composition: 50% Baby Alpaca, 25% Linen, 25% Silk
Quantity: 100g/3.5oz and approximately 250m/273 yards per skein.
Twist Type: 2-ply. 2 single strands twisted together, giving this yarn beautiful texture and stitch definition.
Recommended Needle Size: 3.5 - 5mm (check your pattern and gauge for further details).

Care Instructions
This is a Non-Superwash yarn and therefore requires more care when washing. Please use cold water, and minimal wool wash.
Some slight colour bleed is normal on the first few washes.

Useful Information
All yarn is hand dyed and therefore no skein is identical. I recommend alternating between skeins throughout your project to prevent pooling of colours.
If you purchase multiple skeins of the same colourway, they will be from the same dye-lot unless otherwise stated.
If dye-lots differ greatly, photos of each dye-lot will be provided.
Please purchase your required number of skeins at the same time if you need them to be from the same dye-lot. Every care is taken to maintain consistency between dye-lots, however the nature of hand dyed yarn means that variations may occur.
