Hygge - Merino Singles
Hygge on Merino Singles
A beautiful variegated colourway with subtle shifts between warm orange, golden yellow, and subtle mauve.
'Hygge' (pronounced Hoo-Gah) is described by Meik Wiking in The Little Book of Hygge as follows:
"Hygge is about atmosphere and an experience, rather than about things. It is about being with people we love. A feeling of home. A feeling that we are safe, that we are shielded from the world and allow ourselves to let our guard down."
One of the key parts to Hygge is light, most often candlelight or firelight. I've recreated this cosy warm light in yarn form with this gorgeous new colourway 'Hygge' which has been dyed especially for November's Yorkshire Yarnfest . It's a beautiful variegated colourway with subtle shifts between warm orange, golden yellow, and subtle mauve.
