Marazion - Rustic DK

A variegated grey-blue, with kahki and very subtle lilac sections.

Part of The Newlyn Collection

Along the South coast of Cornwall is a little town called Marazion, probably best know as the gateway to St. Michael's Mount, which can be accessed at low tide by an ancient cobbled causeway. It was here we spent the 3rd day of our painting course, tucked around the corner on one of the quieter stretches of sand.

After some quick painting exercises, I had a page full of inky blues, washed out turquoise, and subtle dusky purples - perfect inspiration for a colourway! 'Marazion' is a soft blend of all these colours, along with some darker kahki-grey representing the rocky outcrops along the shoreline.

This is a Non-Superwash yarn and therefore requires more care when washing. Please use cold water, and minimal wool wash.

Some slight colour bleed is normal on the first few washes.

Useful Information

All yarn is hand dyed and therefore no skein is identical. I recommend alternating between skeins throughout your project to prevent pooling of colours.

If you purchase multiple skeins of the same colourway, they will be from the same dye-lot unless otherwise stated.

If dye-lots differ greatly, photos of each dye-lot will be provided.

Please purchase your required number of skeins at the same time if you need them to be from the same dye-lot. Every care is taken to maintain consistency between dye-lots, however the nature of hand dyed yarn means that variations may occur.
